The Mountain College Library Network is a cooperative of fifteen (15) college libraries in Western North Carolina, including the Blue Ridge Community College Library.  Each library is listed by a code.  Search to find out if Blue Ridge (code BR) or any other MCLN library owns a Magazine or Journal.  Articles may be requested from any MCLN library through Interlibrary Loan.

Use this search to find out if a particular Journal title is available in Full-Text, free online.  DOAJ only indexes scholarly journals that "exercise peer-review or editorial quality control." Examples you might try: "emergency", "British medical journal", or "history".

Free Medical Journals   [open window]

Free Medical Journals is a point-and-click directory to medical journals that provide at least some fulltext content for free online.  Some allow free access after a time delay (i.e., one to six months, 1 year, 2 years after original publication).
